Ladies In Waiting - Kiss - Dressed To Kill (CD, Album)

- the things that make us physically, socially and mentally attractive ("Ladies in waiting"); - loneliness ("Getaway"); - having fun, the impact of rock and roll music on popular culture ("Rock and roll all nite"). To sum up, "Dressed to kill" is one of my favourite albums by KISS/5().

By the release of their third album, 's Dressed to Kill, Kiss were fast becoming America's top rock concert attraction, yet their record sales up to this point did not reflect their ticket sales. Casablanca label head Neil Bogart decided to take matters into his own hands, and produced the new record along with the band. The result is more vibrant sounding than its predecessor, 's Brand: Mercury.

Released five months after Hotter Than Hell, Dressed to Kill is the third Kiss studio album; it's another strong collection from a band that were mostly becoming known for their outrageous stage show. At the time, their record label had so little money on hand that label president Neil Bogart produced the sessions himself, believing (correctly) that the band were one hit single away from stardom.
